Over the years, thatch can build up to a suffocating level! This increased amount of thatch can prevent water, air and essential nutrients from reaching the soil. If left untreated, thatch creates an environment ideal for fungus and other diseases to flourish in your turf.
Our mechanical raking system incorporates a rigid metal tine rake on the front of our commercial lawn mowers. The tine rake loosens the thatch and is then vacuumed up by the mower. We do not incorporate harsh de-thatching machines during a spring clean up. This allows us to remove thatch from your turf in a safer manner.
